The Ashland City Council meets on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month at 5:00 PM.
Agenda items must be submitted no later than 3:30 PM on the Thursday prior to the meeting.

Ashland Redistricting Hearings
Feb. 6th 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM
On February 6, 2012, the Ashland City Council will conduct two (2) public hearings on proposed changes to the city's voting district boundaries.
The first scheduled hearing will be held at 10:00 A.M. and the second at 4:00 P.M. prior to the City Council meeting. The hearings will be held in the council chambers in Ashland City Hall at 82 Court Square in Ashland, Alabama. Due to limited space, maps of the current and proposed district boundaries will be available for public review through February 6, 2012 at Ashland City Hall and on the city's website www.cityofashland.net.
Interested citizens are encouraged to attend the public hearings and offer their comments regarding the proposed plan. The City Council also will accept written comments regarding the proposed plan. Letters should be addressed to the Mayor, City of Ashland, P.O. Box 849, Ashland, AL 36251, Re: Redistricting. All written comments must include the author's full name and place of residence and must be received prior to the hearing date. Letters will be read into public record at the public hearing.
