ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL

PLANNING MEETING

SEPTEMBER 18, 2006

The Ashland City Council met for a regular Planning Meeting on September 18, 2006 at 4:00 P.M. with Mayor Terry Turner and Council Members Zeola D. Echols, Bobbie J. Steed, Gail E. Thompson, Rebecca G. Boddie and Mike Beale present. Also present were Code Enforcement Officer Terry Raughton, Fire Chief Randy Mitchell, Maintenance Supervisor Randy Hanners and Court Clerk/Magistrate Meredith Holcombe.  Attendance record attached.

General discussions were held on the addition of a request from the Clay County Health Care Authority, allowing Terry Raughton to do whatever is necessary in order to get ready for dog ordinance, the resignation of Gail Thompson from the Library Board and the appointment of Sheryl Bonner to the Library Board.  Also discussed was the removal of Item No. 1 under Informational Items.

There were no actions taken at the meeting.  Meeting was adjourned until 5:00 P.M. when the Regular Council meeting would begin.
