ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL

PLANNING MEETING

SEPTEMBER 17, 2007

      The Ashland City Council met for a regular Planning Meeting on September 17, 2007 at 4:00 P.M. with Council Members Zeola D. Echols, Gail E. Thompson, Rebecca G. Boddie and Mike Beale in attendance. Also present was City Clerk Charles E. Foster, Asst. City Clerk Donna J. Bennett, Maintenance Supervisor Randy Hanners,  Code Enforcement Officer Terry Raughton and Abby Pruet of the Clay Times-Journal.

     Mayor Terry Turner and Council Member Bobbie J. Steed was absent due to illness.  Police Chief Benny Davis and Fire Chief Chad Toland were both absent due to other obligations.

     Discussion was held on several items including the status of the Northside Park Improvements Project, the status of the Senior Center Project, the budget for FY 2007-2008 and other items.

    There was no business conducted at this meeting.

     Meeting was adjourned until 5:00 P.M. when the Regular Council meeting would begin.
