ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL

PLANNING MEETING

AUGUST 20, 2007

      The Ashland City Council met for a regular Planning Meeting on August 20, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. with Mayor Pro-Tem Bobbie J. Steed, Council Members Zeola D. Echols, Gail E. Thompson, Rebecca G. Boddie and Mike Beale. Also present was City Clerk Charles E. Foster,  Asst. City Clerk Donna J. Bennett, Maintenance Supervisor Randy Hanners, Police Chief Benny Davis, Code Enforcement Officer Terry Raughton, Leland Steed  and Abby Pruet of the Clay Times-Journal.

     Mayor Terry Turner was absent due to illness.

     Discussion was held on several items including the approval of Resolution No. 08-20-01-2007, the closing of the Wynn Building for repairs, reserve police officers, Ribbon Cutting ceremony at Fabulous Fashions and advertisement for bids on the park project.

    There was no business conducted at this meeting.

     Meeting was adjourned until 4:00 P.M. when the Regular Council meeting would begin.
