ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL

PLANNING MEETING

NOVEMBER 6, 2006

      The Ashland City Council met for a regular Planning Meeting on November 6, 2006 at 4:00 P.M. with Mayor Terry Turner and Council Members Zeola D. Echols, Bobbie J. Steed, Gail E. Thompson, Rebecca G. Boddie and Mike Beale present. Also present were City Clerk Charles E. Foster, Asst. City Clerk Donna Bennett, Maintenance Supervisor Randy Hanners and Fire Chief Randy Mitchell.  Attendance record attached.

     General discussions were held on a meeting held with the Clay County Industrial Development Board concerning the purchase of the McKinney property for industrial use, borrowing monies for the purchase of the afore mentioned property, the annual Christmas parade, reviewing applications for the position of Chief of Police and interviews for the chosen applicants.

     There were no actions taken at the meeting.  Meeting was adjourned until 5:00 P.M. when the Regular Council meeting would begin.
